Been thinking more about this, because I've been thinking of little else lately.

I wonder what would happen if women started implementing our own version of "stand your ground"?????

What if we started shooting assholes who encroached on our personal space?

The cops get away with saying they felt threatened.
No reason why women shouldn't use the same line of defense.

Maybe start out using TASERS?

LOL
Fine.

But only because it's you, and you asked nicely. 😉

@KKGator mahalo.

A lot more trials would be held!

Yes, and give men the same option.

Men have ALREADY been exercising that "option".
That's been the problem.

Good idea!

I had an encounter with a man who recently moved into the complex. He was carrying two very stout pieces of wood, beautifully grained I said nice pieces of wood what will you be making, he replied - I kid you not - "one will be a 'nigger get right stick' the other a club for a woman friend." I said excuse me what did you say, he said it's going to be a walking stick. I told him he was as dumb as he looked, my non verbal look told him everything he needs to know about me. He tends to avoid me and since the cops have been over to his building several times I suspect he has offended others. Yes I felt threatened. He clearly is a racist. Ellensburg is pretty white but it is a college town so there is lots of diversity during the school year. The bigger problem is low income housing. This complex is for 55 and older low income and people with disabilities. As people age they either move to assisted living or die, many of the openings have been filled with younger than 55 but with disabilites. Many of the older residents are feeling threatened by these angry loud disabled people. Many drink too much and are not pleasant. I have thought about getting a pistol.

Definitely concur! Be safe!

There would be lots of dead men(creeps).. But I'm OK with this idea.

It seems to me that if men didn't want to have sex, there wouldn't be people living in this world.

@Grecio men and women both want to have sex, women actually give birth. But don't harass women or violate their rights in order to have sex with them. Your comment is off topic at best.....

@Grecio Seems to me that if men could learn to take "no" for an answer, and that not all women are remotely interested in them, especially when they're being assholes and acting like they're somehow "entitled" to our acquiescence, perhaps there wouldn't be such a problem.

that would improve my current situation immensely: i'd be rid of a bossy narcissist & a big, stomping bully-boy, & have a tumble-down residence all on my own - ha!

In some states (Flordia for example). you can shoot someone just because you think you are in danger, In Nebraska, better make sure the fucker is in your house!

One time I had a police officer show up at my house. It was about a bonfire that the mayor said was okay, He noticed a 7" bowie knife on my side. I asked if he wanted to see it. Never said yes or no. I slowly pulled it out. Presented it business end towards me. He already had his hand on his pistol!

He tested it for sharpness. ON HIS FUCKING FINGER! He said ""damn that's sharp". Okay what do you THINK a knife is designed to do?

Speaking of threats, THEY are suppost to protect me!?! FUCK ME JESUS!

Except for that little detail that women's sentences are harsher for the same crimes men commit.
I started to notice that when on my crime tv jags. Stuff that didn't even kill a person, like stealing wallets from inebriated men, would land women with decade+ terms into life(depending on state), while a rapist or pedophile would be back on the street looong before a woman's sentence.

I'm not sure where you got your data but these links state the opposite. I would be very interested to see your source though.

Seems reasonable given the circumstances.

Seemed so to me, too.
