Advice on my cover letter? I am looking to move. I worked for this company before. It's a fortune 500 company. I loved the working enviroment, pay was decent. I moved, but want to go back. I need to secure a job before I get an apartment.

Dear Hiring Manager,

My name is Michael last name and I excited at the prospect of joining your business as a name of job. After reviewing the job description associated with this position, it is my belief that I possess the necessary skills and abilities to not only preform the job, but to excel.

In my professional life, I have worked in different fields and in different capacities, including managing the daily operation of a family farm of approximately 700 acres as well as working a general mechanic in a vehicle repair shop. While this positions may seem to be on opposite ends of the employment spectrum, the skills that made me successful in these positions are the same skills that will enable to be successful in any: the ability to identify and resolve issues, to think critically, and the ability to work well with others. These characteristic have served me well in past endeavors and will continue to do so in my future employment.

I look forward to interviewing with you in order to get to know you and your company better as well as give you an opportunity to meet me. I am confident you will determine my skills will enable me to be successful in this position and I look forward to joining your team.
