A cool theory ive heard is that earth was a penal colony for an alien race. Hence low tech. That they helped build the pyramids and stuff, atlantis was our "homeworld" and got destroyed. Seems far fetched though but no more than the bible

Although most people are "all or nothing", I myself believe that creationism, inteligent design, alien design,Darwinism, and evolution need not be exclusive. There is a concept that creationism, when taken literally (read the text in Hebrew not the A.V.com/K.J.V.com/ or any other questionable translation), they what the words actually say opens up the possibility of both creationism and evolution being correct. It is based on the phrases " one of my days is like unto a thousands of your years" an idea that time is linear, indeterminate, and subjective, and "In the beginning (start) there was nothing and there was God" it looks like a nonmathematical description of the moment of catalyst with the Higgs,-Boson particle. But I could be wrong.
