These folks following trump are not conservatives. They believe in republicanism. Republicanism is about power and money. This is what is driving this group of people in my opinion. They have thrown away the norms of Conservatism, adding 1.2 trillion dollars to our National debt is not Conservatism, destroying the environment is not Conservatism, putting children in cages is not Conservatism, supporting men like Roy Moore and Brett Kavanaugh is not supporting Conservatism. The republican party needs to start over with new people who actually want to make our Government work, not tear it down.

It is the conservative party in control now and many conservatives identify with their party and what is going on. True, it is an extreme version but our politics has turned to extremes.
@TheAstroChuck John McCain was not a great politician. He said some pretty outrageous things when running against Obama. He also said America is a Christian nation. Yes, he stood up to the bullies later in life but it didn't seem to work.
