We did 12 to 13 hour shifts every day for 29 days straight at the fish hatchery in Alaska I worked at one summer. We were on a remote island and we our supplies by barge every 2 weeks if the weather was nice. Just don't be like me and fall in an empty 12 ft concrete pond when you're done. Not a fun float plane right home!

Some old timers did this for 30 or 40 years. If I make it 65 it will be a miracle......wait can I use miracle??

I know it is tough. Still, try 63 straight 12 plus hour shifts at sea in the Indian Ocean. No family or friends or bars to go home to. Well, some friends.

You win!!

It's concord grape harvest here. We work 12 hours a day until it's over. Hopefully only 10-15 days left.
