Do you walk away from friends that are believers in one religion or another or tolerate their childish "blessings" etc.?

I distance myself from those who are constantly talking about religion. However, I'm fine w/believers if they're somewhat quiet about it, and not preachy like so many are.

I do; we then have not much essentially in common.

I don't think I have any friends who are overtly religious. I mean other than their goign to services I hear nothing of their religion.

Most of my ex in-laws, most of whom I am closer to than my own immediate family, are very religious. A couple are deacons in their TX Baptist church. So, I accept their blessings, preaching to a certain degree and I don't think my non-belief has affected our relationship. They don't pressure me and I don't attempt to change their blind faith in an almighty God. Whenever any want to discuss ideology, historical facts, etc. I am ready though. Most interesting debate though was an almost hour long conversation with two young Mormon men right outside my bank. That happened here in Nevada though, not TX.

Most of my real life friends are evangelical Christians. I tolerate their beliefs, and they tolerate my non-beliefs.

I tolerate them in a concerted effort to just get along. When they start preaching is when I find an excuse to walk away because it won't be a discussion it'll be a win/lose situation.

I mostly tolerate them. They usually mean well.

Most people I tolerate as endlessly debating religion with those who are closed-minded is a bore. If they are vaguely intelligent I am very happy to express my Atheism and discuss at length.
