don't be taken in by some jerks comments, its called the Dunning-Kruger Effect, (you can look it up) when someone states that Hawking was completely wrong,, and has no real idea what hes talking about.

Even though he was completely wrong about the Big Bang?

Completely ?

@Science-guy yes - the BBT is a joke. In order for it to be true you have to ignore laws of physics.

@Science-guy Apparently he did add some work on Black holes - that might be true.

The greatest thing about science is that is a collaborative learning environment filled with those eager to share and learn from each other.

@Science-guy yeah, I agree, but so many theorize because they apparently can't grasp the fact that time and space are infinite.

@gater no, but they both do have the potential, to be infinite, and are expanding as we speak. what lies beyond 15 billion light years from the big bang is not observable,

@magicwatch Wrong - time and space are infinite. Space does not expand. Ask yourself what was here 100 billion years ago, a timeless, spaceless void? You know how retarded that is?

There is so much we do not know or is altogether unknowable. In a hundred years, scientists will chuckle at our stumbling

@gater if you don't except the big bang theory, just like Fred Hoyle, who opposed Hawking then you are stuck in the Steady State universe

@magicwatch No - the Steady State claims the Universe is expanding - it isn't. The Universe is infinite - by definition it can not expand.

@Science-guy No - its not that complicated. Time and Space are infinite Space does not expand - time does not slow down as we approach the speed of light. Einstein was wrong - Hawking who was a proponent of The BBT - was wrong.
