Go to their profile. Right under "Details" you should see a box that says "You like..." with the user's name, and a clickable "x" at the far right side. Clicking that "x" should remove them from your favorites.

Thank you. It didn't work out quite that way but it lead to me making the change that I wanted.

Why, did you have a fight?

No but it seems silly of me to have favourite members when really I know none of you. It likely will take a long time to get to know anyone. Maybe if anything I should be following those who have chosen to follow me. I was grateful for the initial encouragement but then got ticked off for expressing an opinion so I turned to groups close to personal interests. I'm still trying to figure out whether I want to be here. I like the Leftists but I'm not meeting enough variation. Similarly in other groups there seem to be few people talking.

@rogerbenham Some people are just very shy and you have to remember or realise that just because you have some things in common with some people, doesn't mean that you will either agree or have everything in common with them. Oh, how boring that would be.

@Jolanta Yes the fact that almost no-one seems to want to use their real name makes me wonder if they live with some level of fear all the time. We all likely have some things about ourselves about which we are shy or feel uncomfortable. However I do fully agree that it would be most boring were we all the same in all of our thoughts. What would there to be to talk about. Back to crazy hippie youth chat such as "far out, man" without need to explain.
I broke away nearly 40 years ago so I find that my attitudes often are odd to others.I escaped from TV in 1980 and largely from all advertising through until 2000.

@rogerbenham I use my real name all the time have found that there have been instances when maybe I should not have done that. And yes we all have secrets.

@Jolanta Good for you! Great name to have been given! Sorry my comment was not directed at you as I thought that it might well be your name. But surely you agree that many members of this website do not. I appreciate that as a woman you have more reason to concern than men do. I walk without fear almost always even though I live in grizzly bear country. My one visit to your country assured me that I can happily live without snakes!

@rogerbenham Yes you are right there but I feel that there is something in my mind not quite honest about "hiding" behind a made up name.

@Jolanta Agreed. Deceiving is the same as lying.
