Dang, not having my big Friday. The property (I was looking at) has an illegal plumbing set up, so I'm skipping on buying this "camping" property. It was cool looking, but too much hassle if I really wanted to live there. No worries, I learned something. There will be others.

These kind of things have a way of working out for the best in the long run.

Had a similar experience out West; cute place, spectacular setting … un-inspected septic lines and house.. No telling what might be dug up when attempting to bring everything ‘to code.’

Sorry to hear that but glad to know you’re optimistic about finding the “right” place for you.

You will eventually find a good fit. I moved in August and looked at probably close to 75 houses before finding the right one. Good luck...happy hunting!

Great that you found out that it was illegal before you bought it. Count your blessings.

That stinks. But onward and upward!
