Went to a Trump protest near Columbia Regional Airport in Missouri. Had a choice between going downtown with the Democrats or heading to the belly of the beast and stand with the LGBTQ community. I hung with the gays, those kids took the abuse of thousands of Trumpers and stood tall. Here in Missouri the Dems mostly give lip service to gay rights, today the Dems hid safely in town while these (mostly) kids bravely stood right where the Trumpers had to pass to get to the rally. Standing up for what is right can be uncomfortable, it's supposed to be. I have had plenty of crisis in my life, nearly all of my own making, but I never had to defend my very being, who I really am to people that would deny me my rights simply because I would be naturally different. What would you do?
