100 years ago tomorrow since the end of WW1. My great-grandfather died in Belgium. My partner's great grandfather's too (who he looks exactly like). Years ago, I read an article that commented that had WW2 and certainly Vietnam not happened, then we would have been far more progressive. This is, they felt, because in both wars, it was young working class men (and women) who died. The rich and priviledged escaped (not all, I know). What do you think would have happened had WW1 not happened?
