Quick question. Is it reasonable to assume that in life there is one person on this planet or any planet for that matter that has absolutely no interest in another without there being an ulterior motive such as financial gain or how they look, being involved in that decision of them meeting and bonding to the point of living eternally happy together? And debate.

Yes it is - and has. The only issue I have with that is "eternally". We know that change is the only consistent so I believe it's a mistake to always expect "happily ever after". It can happen I guess but it wouldn't stop me from appreciating a great relationship however less than for "eternally". I like to believe I'm pragmatic.
