If the moon smiled, then I'm guessing we have bigger problems. I would commence loading my underwear with bricks.

Beautiful quote from an excellent poet. She was married to Ted Hughes, a one time poet laureate of England. He wrote some stunning works himself. He, however, was a physically and emotionally abusive spouse to Sylvia and to his second wife, who chose to die the exact same way. (I had a class of students who decided he murdered both. I don't really know the full details, but I am sure that how he treated his wives played a part in their decisions to leave life behind)
