There are so many ignorant people who see how easy it looks to stand in front of a class, lecture, pass out tests, and assign homework. They don't see the preparation and hours of grading papers, reading essays, and dealing with idiotic parents, and administration that it takes to make the classroom presentation look easy.
However I want to add on a side note; I've seen this one in real life and on YouTube:
“Before you give me a ticket, Officer, I just wanted to mention: My taxes pay your salary.”
