What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
I'm thankful for the freedom to count my blessings in private, in my own way, if I choose, rather than feel obligated to share my gratitude with others in a forced setting, with all the social expectations involved with that. Although I'm grateful for family who loves me, I'm glad they understand my need to spend some holidays in solitary confinement. Freedom to live my life my own way is probably the thing I'm most thankful for.
I am thankful that my brother will finally be meeting his only son soon. He also has a new granddaughter and I have a new great-niece!
I am thankful for my health and a very special friend who is helping me reach my fitness goals.
I am also thankful for the many new friends I have met online here and will hopefully get to meet in person, like you Dave!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Wow that's a big deal . How did that happen?
@Bigwavedave The mother did not want him to be involved since she was married to someone else. The son found my brother and they have been chatting for a few years..
My boys, my health and my pretty awesome life overall. I have a good job, good kids and good relationships with friends and family. Really not sure what else I could want or need. ?
How was williamsburg? Did you get to go to a historic tavern?
@Bigwavedave no!!! I was a little bummed. Just didn’t work out with the boys.
