He knew this tribe had a history of killing outsiders. Everyone involved knew about this threat. This guy was as crazy as the snake handling Pentecostals.
While people being killed is never good news, I nevertheless still find some joy in knowing there is one less asshole pushing his make believe superstition and protected hatred off onto more people.
Or, in other words, the dumb ass got EXACTLY what he deserved.
