That time has come: Who would you most like to see as the top 2 to 5 (I am dreaming of the day we have real multiple party choices) presidential candidates to vote for in 2020?

I don't know of a candidate that I would like to see, but I know what I would like to see in a candidate:

  • Someone who knows what individual rights are and who would work to protect them
  • Someone who would uphold the Constitution
  • Someone who knows the history of Capitalism and would fight against Socialism
  • Someone who was honest and had integrity

You're describing Bill Weld.

@Minta79 Possibly... he is on my radar. From what I've heard, he sounds good.

@sfvpool I really wish he had been on top of the ticket with Johnson in 2016.

Multiple parties will not work in our system. It would be constant gridlock. The freedom caucus proved that. About 20 some odd seats in the house stopped everything ever since the tea party got in the house. There were things Boehner wanted to work with Obama on, but he knew those members of the Tes Party/Freedom Caucus would block it.

Bernie and Beto.

Gov Gary Johnson of New Mexico. He's Libertarian. He along with Dr. Jill Stein would make a perfect team. Maybe even one of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's offspring.

@PalacinkyPDX I clashed with some of his views. But Dr. Stein is a good balance. I don't care anymore.
