Ok thoughts on this story. Rather than a story of punishment it's perhaps a story of cause and effect. Her sorrow over her home caused her eventual death, pillar of salt because tears are salty?

Sodom actually erupted in flames when a natural earthquake released natural gas deposits which exploded. The pillar ofd saul had more to do with the grology of the area, which had a lot of salt pillars from where ancient seas receded.

The only thing I could think about while listening to her was that she might have a great voice for voice overs for animation or cartoons.

I remember her saying that she has done a little voice work.
