Have u been watching the funeral of George bush, and it's Mumbo jumbo ritualistic ceremony; it's insane. What r some things one can expect from a state funeral of an atheist.

While I'm sure its catharsis for the family who share the religion, I find it bizarre to box up a corpse and sing songs and give speeches to it.....

Yeah part of that ritualistic nonsense stems from the military and I couldn’t expect most people to understand let alone respect that. Just saying that he was the youngest pilot in the navy during the 2nd world war.
And because of him and decision to follow the orders given to him to go and protect the oil that our money is backed by i’ll have the right to have some of that ceremonial mumbo jumbo at my grave if I so wish.

I wouldn't subject myself to that. Not really interested in funerals though in the first place.
