These flowers opened today! This Christmas Cactus blooms from November to April with colorful cascades of flowers.

At age 17, I started it from two cuttings in Michigan. It is uplifting during dark winter months.

Flower buds develop on the side of the plant facing the window. When flowers start opening, I spin the plant around. Then new flower buds develop facing the window.

Flower buds need water to plump up.
