When biological family members think they have some special place in your life due to that biological connection . . . . Despite the fact that they are racist, abusers of others who are weaker than themselves, have no respect for the truth, or generally think that they have some special pass that lets them exercise bad behavior . . . . It is time to cut the cord. There is never any good reason for any of this type of behavior, and biology does not excuse it. No one gets some special dispensation or acceptance from me just because of a biological connection . . . . Anyone who behaves like this, whether biologically connected or not, I do not even want them in my shadow!
