No. Teaching kids that doing essentially mean things means they like you creates issues when they're grown up. It's not charming. Charming is a little boy giving a girl a cookie or something. Or a little girl sharing her milk carton. They're adorable when they're all earnest and nice to each other.

In truth... I never had pigtails. They got in the way of playing softball! Lol
