I saw John Lee in concert in a small club in Rochester NY. He was already old, but when he started to sing and play everybody began buzzing at a higher frequency. That man's voice was plugged into something universal. And all without an audio engineer in sight.
I have never seen Ry Cooder play live, but his music makes me glad to be alive, especially his collaborations with V.M Bhatt and Ali Fakar Toure.
@Spinliesel I've never seen either one of them live, but have enjoyed lots of their music.
