I saw an interesting article: only President ever arrested. It was Grant for speeding on his horse. Ah, for the old days, when even a President who committed a minor offense was held responsible.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The cop upon realizing that it was Grant wanted to sweep it under the rug i.e., he wasn't going to be held responsible. It was only when Grant insisted that the cop do his job that he was "held responsible". There's a lesson to be learned there and it's not about a President being held responsible - it's about an adult accepting responsibility.

He’s also responsible for the creation of the term lobbyists from when he’d exit the White House ( against the advice of his staff ) and go to the lobby of the hotel right up the street and sit in the lobby to drink and smoke his cigars.
And people would approach to pitch ideas and requests of the government hence lobbyists
