We have many critics of our government and the press. However there seems to be a shortage of those who can direct a better government or press? I cannot come up with any answer except they lack an answer also?

It’ll first take an overwhelming and lasting win for the Democrats on all fronts. Too bad we need a couple of wars, economic freefall … and an unraveling of the executive branch in order to sufficiently wake folks up..

Then it’s going to take some serious claw-back of law & regulations - as well as Congressional legislation to curb former & future abuses of the supreme court - to bring fairness to a freshly leveled playing field.

Reinstatement of The Fairness Doctrine would be an excellent antidote to abuses of the public airwaves. Just give the ‘other side’ equal time to counter - and cultivating the ignorant for profit will greatly decrease.

Tuff stuff … perhaps requiring more than the forty plus years it’s taken to get here from a time of relative fairness 😕

[ excellent questions, requiring more than simply a rant ]

They seem to be looking for perfection which does not exist. Therefore it is up to each of us as citizens to take part in government ,make our wishes known and see if it improves those areas we find lacking.

I think getting away from simple majority control and votes would be a step forward.
