One law I'd like to see taken up by the new Congress would be a Presidential Standards Act, where standards for being able to run for President of the United States are listed.
As is, America has the least qualified person to ever hold the office, now in office. Trump should never have been able to run for the office in the first place. He knows nothing about the Constitution he swore on a Bible to "preserve, protect and defend".
Trump has appointed the worst possible person for the job in each of his cabinet positions.
America has Donald the Twitter Troll living in the White House, affecting policy, signing decrees, ruining decades long friendships with other countries, taking his cues from "Fox & Friends". The world is lucky he hasn't done any more harm than he already has.

I find it concerning that the top post in the land has less qualifications than some straight out of high school jobs...just knowing history and how to speak and write properly should be right up there as well.
But, we know who "interviewed" him...and all he wanted was a puppet to do his bidding...

And one of the most important new things to pass is to make it mandatory for anyone wanting to run for the office of President MUST release their tax returns period!!!
