One big problem I see is is that the Israeli state seems to have not learned the lesson of intolerance (except maybe if it was done to them it's alright to do it to others). What's the adage, my ally right or wrong or perhaps they may be son's of bitches but at least their our son's of bitches. This woman got fired because a foreign government is allowed to shape our politics and take away a person's freedom of speech and the freedom to protest Neither of which has anything to do with teaching. The term is not anti-Semitic but anti-Zionist. There is a big difference.

Why is it always a backhanded compliment? Like "some of my best friends are black" comments. "I support Israel" but is Israel the only country that has a lobby in Washington? Do you not pay attention? You think Saudi Arabia has no lobby in Washington? They can murder people and it's okay because they buy things from us but you just don't like Israel's government. If you took all that out you could just focus on your issue which is taking someone's job away for their personal beliefs, that might make sense huh?

Follow the money. The FDIF actually recruits from synagogues throughout the United States to go to Israel and fight against the Palestinians.
They also constantly ask for contributions to help fund the cause as well as for political contributions.
So none of this is a surprise to me.
