@Maggiemay. Just to note as my previous comment referenced, what they fly is not the "stars and bars" as many have just accepted that misnomer. They are flying the battle flag of the army if northern Virginia, Lee's army. That flag flew over the Southern capital for only a few months. Note - it's heritage is really bullshit, we have no fucking idea. The stars and bars is also red white blue with a circle of stars. Stared with 11 for the States that rebelled, then added 2 stars for Arkansas and Kentucky for the many traitors who went south to fight. The worst thing Clinton ever did as governor, give in for political favor, was add an extra star to the Arkansas flag for the confederacy. (And just in case, any cons wanting to storm the Clinton fence LOOK LOOK LOOK, everyone does some shit and be honest about the shitasses you support)

Yep. (It's heritage you wouldn't understand). That phrase does so piss me off. I ask them three questions and find a miniscule number who can get past these three easy to answer "heritage" questions. Just what does the Bars and Stars look like? That flag you are flying, what is its origin story? Or the one that I have gotten, no shit, the most ridiculous answers (duh, 13 colonies), Why does it have 13 stars? Then when they try to counter punch with bullshit, I say, my Great grandfather Eli Greer fought for the Confederacy. Glad he lived. Glad he owned no slaves. And, most assuredly, glad he lost. They were traitorous. And, although I could join the so called son's of the confederacy, there is no way because unlike stupid asses in t-shirts, I know my heritage.
