Seems the US and Israel have left another international body, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation aka UNESCO.
You know, the mob who look after World Heritage sites etc

Seems they've been picking on Israel.

Of course they have. The US is in the process of selling off National Parks to oil companies and Israel doesn't want international "interferance" in whom can visit sights or not.
