I decided it is dogmatic to be sure a God exists or does'nt exist as I don't recall awareness of the Big Bang. Preaching either side of the great debate now seems dogmatic. Science Method just seems one should be open to evidence either way constantly. So despair is versus progress.

I think it generally is a sign of education. In the US its obvious in a sense new versus old. But in other countries the idea of atheism scares people. Its in general you would think God would at least get a definition. But really that definition is obedience to some small group claiming to speak for this entity that is Parmenides good things while all of the mythological evils are not from God. While there is almost an obvious psychological intention to control people behind religions, it does not mean religion is bad. THus the idea of God removed from those motives is a useful concept. I always feel that any concept should mean God in unequivocal terms. But again who reads philosophy? People don't invest any time or effort and simply pick up words. Scientific method similarly is a very deep and methodological approach to discovery of useful concepts. But ofcourse it is easy to remember memetic things about science instead of just learning it. Society does not promote education and you get that sort of individuals defining society.

Science is constantly trying to disprove itself. religion has no interest in doing that.
