How did you feel when, relationship wise, you and a significant other broke it off, and if, when you tried to reconcile with that person?

I'm asking to gather other's perspective on the matter, cause I want to keep up the momentum, inspiration, and motivation to finally write a new poem/rap for next week's nuyorivan open mic.

I fought the breakup of my first 2 relationships but, in the end, it was a big benefit for me and perhaps I learned a lesson (we'll see). The other 2 we remained friends of which one I still see sometimes. I would never go back to a failed relationship - what's the definition of crazy?

It is a relief, like when one shits one's pants.

Destroyed, in a seriously dark place. Took ages and now I am ok with it. We will never be friends.

Heartbroken and then confused.
