Can you get yourself ready for breakfast in six minutes? This is the time allowed to Canadian Carers of the elderly in institutions. It smells of elderly abuse.
Set your timer when you first awaken and report back here how far you personally got. Then say how you think that you could progress a 93 y.o. having false teeth, incontinence and dementia in six minutes?
I guess it depends what the expectations are about what 'ready' means. Particularly for elderly folk with arthritis, taking your medications is probably about the first thing, then waiting until they have taken effect sufficiently to allow you to move may take a while. I used to roll out of bed and was able to be ready to walk out the door in the amount of time it now takes me to get out of bed and down the stairs.
not worth living at that speed.
Fess up! That is is just denial of the fact you no longer have the abilities or inclination.
