HELP!! I need to find this childrens book !
OK. So the story is about a boy on his way to school when he is captured by pirates and taken with a load of other kids to an island to go through tunnels. There are mechanical penguins, a sly parrot and his best friend is female.
Think there are Firegems involved ? Uncle Roger and his chickens sort out the penguins.
I read it to my daughter years ago and she is looking for it for her primary class.
Ringing any bells? Anyone ?
