My wife and I lived in various spots near Seattle for 10 years. In all that time I don't ever remember it raining (by Arizona standards) but it was gray and drizzled almost every day.

I think it got to up to 100°F once and it never got down to 0°F. We ended up back in the desert to see the sun and to experience four seasons again. Washington was fall all year round. We miss a lot of the culture and lifestyle but the constant gray was too much for for us.

Oy, this is exactly why I moved to Nevada. I love sunshine... and cheesecake. We have dessert in the desert!! ? it gets cold here at night sometimes but it's almost always sunny.

It was pure sunshine on Virginia’s Blue Ridge today! Hit 62 as I pruned my neighbor’s apple tree the day before.. Windchill tonight: below 0, with constant wind & cold from Thunder Bay, Canada ..at the moment.
