I often wonder,in this day and age, why we are still debating the existence of a god or gods!.. With no proof, second hand, unreliable or personal accounts, an ancient text written by ignorant peasants.. Why is this still a thing?.. Generational Indoctrination is the thing!

Yep, but I see the hold loosening with millennial parents. Until something better comes along that makes more sense, religion is slowly giving way to scientific reality. It may take another couple of generations, but I have hope.
