Well known Australian Psychologist specialising in human sexuality, Bettina Arndt has recently released a letter asking everyone to take it, sign it and return it for sending to the Hon Kelly O'Dwyer, Minister for Women in the Australian Federal Government.
In the letter she makes impassioned plea that current attempts to resolve domestic violence cease to portray men merely as perpetrators. As she points out much violence is by women. Furthermore she highlights alcohol as the most frequent trigger for violence.
Please support her campaign:
True it happens to both sexes but not that many men die or are hospitalized. I think that Bettina is not saying anything about that.
According to the government the incidence of female death is four times greater. The point is there should be no deaths and no violence.
