Trump has as much chance of stopping drugs entering the US as King Canute had of stopping the waves from coming onto the shore. It's (again) a simple case of supply and demand. The only way to stop drugs coming into the country is to have no demand for them - how likely is that?

What Trump says he wants and what Trump actually wants are two very different things. That has been obvious since he announced his candidacy for president.
