Not a fan of Nazis and not a fan of Peterson.

Nazis I can understand. Why no Jordy?

@skado He has many good points but there is something just too right wing for me. In some ways he reminds me of the Burt Lancaster character Elmer Gantry. That's the best explanation I can come up with - weird I know.

Interesting that Hitch was willing to take Nazis at their word. Peterson is using his own judgment and knowledge of psychology, history, culture, and comparative religion. I think I would trust the cranky, neurotic professor over Hitler.

Umm, the Nazis were into Eastern Kabala-type stuff, thus the swastika.....

WTF?!?!

@AlPastor oh yes...the racial-purity/cleansing/Aryan thing came directly from that. I did a big paper on it for my senior year in HS

@AnneWimsey Many of the higher echelon in the Nazi Party went in strange "mystical" directions, & so did many of the SS. I think the majority of the rank-and-file were just regular Christians, believing they were doing God's work.

I will admit, nay, revel in the fact, that I loathe Jordan (is a ) Peterson! Chopra-Lite! If he was half as smart as he claims he is he would be twice as smart as he really is! Cannot stand him!

What is the one thing you like least about Peterson; not a generalization, but a specific?
