There are moments in life that are so stark and stunning in their depiction that they serve as distillations of the world's most fundamental truths. Watching a woman so old that she needed help getting out of her seat, putting a flower on the casket of her 19 year-old granddaughter is the most poignant illustration of life having never promised to be fair that I have ever witnessed. I don't even have words beyond that...
