Is trumper laying the base for loosing one of our best allies in the Middle East. The answer is YES. His plan to leave Syria and the fighting leaves thew Kurds subject to war with Turkey supported by Russia. We should be giving serious thought concerning Turkey's membership in NATO because of it's collusion with Russia in trade and military purchases.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The US will abandon the Kurds much like we abandoned a number of groups throughout the world during WWII in China and in Vietnam, and elsewhere. As far as Turkey is concerned, if we are worried about nuclear safety, we need to get our nucs out of there from on the shared air base. If people remember, when the recent "coop" occurred tanks appeared and surrounded the base. Those tanks were not there to protect us, as the tanks had their muzzles pointed into the base.

The Syrian war has been the basis for Turkey to be allied with Russia. In addition their imams are preaching in Europe and are telling their members to be loyal to Turkey and not their host countries. This is causing great concern in these countries . Mean while The Kurds feel that the USA has abandoned them after fighting for their cause.
