To be quite honest, those biblical fairy tales aren't much worse than the original fairy tales, that the Grimms modified, and were even more modified later. Snow White raped by Prince Charming or Little Red banished by her parents for "ruining" her reputation or Cinderella's step sisters blinded and each having part of a foot cut off, and on and on.

@Beowulfsfriend Okay, the one is Hans Christian Andersen. He was a little dark. I read a bit of his stuff when I was a kid.

@KKGator remember he and the Grimms just wrote down, edited old stories and published. I've read the 13th century French Red Riding Hood and it is like a story of potential pedophilia, by the Wolf, in which the child escapes, naked, but is still cast out.
