I'm no expert in this subject, But I have learned a little something about the stone ape theory(more of a hyposthesis than a theory)

Since I am a huge nerd I like to look at things with the little science knowledge that I have. So basically the M string theory is a theory that is trying to unify all of the laws of the cosmos and the quantum world. because as you know the same laws that govern the cosmos collapse when applied in the quantum world. This theory states that there are strings that vibrate in different frequencies and they are the fundamental building blocks of the universe, there are also 12 dimensions that we live in, 4 being the most common( length width height and time) but the others are so small their imperceptible. Maybe our mind lives on the 5th dimension and using these "drugs" can help us create a bridge between dimensions. OR maybe I smoke too much weed

As a retired botanist, This video really got me thinking.

Okay, first of all, you can NEVER "smoke too much weed". Let's just be really clear about that.
The rest of it, I have no idea.
Never really cared for the hallucinogenics. Definitely don't like mushrooms, and
LSD never did a thing for me.
That said, I think that just about anything is possible in that realm.

Btw, welcome to the asylum. Enjoy your stay.
🙂

What if you smoke so much you accidentally mark the wrong box in the voting booth?

It's as good a theory as any for how we got Trump.

@Paul4747 No. I reject that theory. Smoking weed doesn't make anyone stupid enough to accidentally vote for 45. Besides, if you make a mistake on your ballot, you can get another. All you have to do is ask. Even if it's electronic. Just don't hit the final button, or pull the lever.

@KKGator You mistake my meaning. I was implying "inattentive", not stupid.

I think this is the most logical idea of the evolution of the human brain and how we became such deep thinkers.
