Feel big because the universe is in us
I'm linking this video, as my response to the question. We have been since the beginning and we will be until the end of time.

yes, Paul, it's my default setting ❤

Some. The worst part for me is the fear of not being able to partake in my hobbies due to illness or frailty before kicking the bucket. I don't see that possibility as "living". Then there's the knowledge that we won't get to complete some things. Death usually happens at inopportune times.

yet doesn't the decrease of some skills also come with an increase in insight? i like to understand all changes in my life as opportunities to grow, challenges to realise the greatness in me. as to incomplete stuff that's left behind, i'll gladly join the ranks of artists, composers, scientists, all the brilliant people who didn't know when to stop 😉

Its the only bit religious people get right, rest in peace. I wouldn't want to live forever.

I think it all depends on the circumstances. My mom had been suffering from dementia for years. When she passed it was a blessing. Please pardon the expression.
