In solitude a person has no such concerns.
That's why I said I may have felt that way at times. Now I spend most of my time with my critters and don't have that problem ?
I have never felt that way. I am not even sure what that even means.
It is pack mentality. It's how Drumpf ended up in office.
I disagree with @CallMeDave - many younger people feel this way. Society has taught us to be at a certain point in each stage in our lives, ie go to college, get a great paying job, get married, have kids blah blah blah - if that doesn't happen many feel this. Eventually most realize those expectations are unrealistic and just move on.
@Heidi68 if we replace Society with Pack, haven't we said about the same thing?
@CallMeDave not the way I look at it. Pack represents (to me) smaller groupings. A pack of wolves vs all wolves collectively. Society is the collective of all humans.
Interesting assumption ?
Not really - read what I wrote above.
Another interesting thought - everyone who responded to this point are guys (8:25am). Men do not communicate with each other the way women do. I have 2 women (young ladies) who just this week made similar statements (as the meme) to me. So not really an assumption.
@Heidi68 You’re right I don’t really communicate with other men that much.
But also I never assume that other people have it together either.
And also due to my past experiences tend to look for the worst in people as well as having little to no trust in anyone that I’ve just met.
Everyone is different so therefore I can only speak for myself.
