Yup. One thing you can do is quit using Faceberg.

Thanks for telling what I should do and giving them more power than what they most likely are. ?

@48thRonin the more people realize faceberg is just there to steal your life and sell it to others, the better off we'll all be

@celticagent Please if you’re speaking with me use adult words. It’s Facebook and if you believe that they’re the only ones to do it ever then our conversations will not be pleasant.
Clear?

That is only part of the problem just look at CEO's pay, benefits and removal benefit packages. Their benefits amount to wages for a families income for a lifetime. Some of these were over 200 million dollars.

But that’s where the logic of raising their taxes to what appears to be an extreme level comes from.

If you have someone earning $200 million and tax them at 75% that still gives them an income of $50 million. So boohoo right?

And let’s say that there’s 20 of these CEO’s that are now earning and being taxed at this rate would actually provide more than $2 billion taxes that could be used to support multiple sources.

But something else to consider is that with such a high tax penalty that just as is it did back before Reagan implemented trickle down economics which possibly caused most CEO’s to keep their salaries down but were offset by shares of stock and bonuses.

So what the idea is that they’ll lower their salaries and that money will be returned to the workers salaries but it is in no way going to happen without a fight so we’ll see as always.

@48thRonin High tax rate for the rich has caused them to move to low tax countries and they are welcome there. This has been the result in many other countries just as they now change states to obtain lower state taxes.

@Marine That’s their businesses not the owners and board members. What this is going after is their income. I use to work for Blaine capital company where efficiency and cost effectiveness are all that matters.

I watched a whole industry turn to China to make their goods because of profit margins and competing with foreign manufacturers.

If we hadn’t handed our economy over to China in order to retrieve the crew of one of our recon planes as well as to borrow money to fight in two theaters at once. We could’ve prevented the Chinese manufacturing takeover but we didn’t.

And beyond that if these companies weren’t spending so much money on industrial lobbyists and nine digit CEO and CFO salaries then most Americans would be making better money and so would the companies.

But everyone is greedy and they want it on their terms even if it’s counterproductive to our society as a whole:

@48thRonin Sorry, if you lived in Ct you would have felt the loss of very many of our wealthy moving to another state from Fairfield county. It has cost the state over a billion in state taxes.

@Marine Dude I lived outside of Winston-Salem NC and I watched High Point NC go from sidewalks filled on a Sunday to people living on them everyday.

The furniture manufacturers sent all of their jobs to China. So their profit margin would go from 20-30% to 60+ and guess what? The price of their shit didn’t go down a damn cent.

And please don’t get me wrong I’ve lived Richmond Virginia as well where if wasn’t for rich people living there that city would look like fucking Detroit.

Which means that there needs to be a compromise as to how much can a business/corporation and their CEO’s make while ensuring that their employees aren’t living off of government assistance in order to fulfill the needs of theirs and their families.

And honestly I haven’t seen one yet that wasn’t penalizing someone. So ideas, suggestions, anything that would work for everyone and I do mean everyone.

@48thRonin Send back our wealthy. As for your other comment your guess is as good as mine!
