Okay, my hobby is hypnotizing people (stage type hypnosis) . My problem is bringing up the topic with strangers.

What do you think would be a good opening line in a public setting?

For the record you can't for someone to do or say anything they would not do otherwise. Lot's don't believe in it. I never have been. I have been to two group hypnosis things. The first was in HS. Some in the audience did get hypnotized. The principal was on stage. He did not believe in it. He got hypnotized. The guy asked several people why did you pass gas. The principal said "too many speeding tickets". lol Did not believe he was hypnotized. Then they showed him the video.

The other time was when I was in college. He asked a bunch of people what they liked most about riding a motorcycle. This good looking gal said "I like the vibrations".

Entertaining.

Hey everyone. Look at this shiny object. You're getting sleepy. Leave your wallets on the table.

Ummm, just before you plan to practice your hobby on them, or as a matter of general interest???

Just before

@SPRapp Seriously, though, 'stage type hypnosis' as opposed to what, therapeutic?

@tinkercreek correct. Purely for entertainment value.
