My dream is to detox and use a combination of kratom and cannabis for my pain. I'm in an illegal state, SC. I'm going West when my daughter leaves home. I'm all she's got right now and I have to work, take care of us.
What are your thoughts on kratom and cannabis as a health care provider? And as a human.

I can’t give an educated answer to your questions.
Ask your pain management doctor on their feelings of these two. I’m sure they would be open to the questioning.
I would just clarify that you have no intent of using them while under their care. You just wanted their expertise on opioids versus those
I can say I’m highly suspicious of Kratom’s safety.
But I have zero medical knowledge of it.

@darthfaja I talked to him about it, cbd as well. He said cannabis helps some, but he is skeptical. Says it should be legal here soon. Cbd he has no problem with, kratom he says hits the same receptors as opiodes. Basically he is ok with me trying these except cannabis will get me kicked out of the clinic, for now. He's a rare and compassionate Dr, and I appreciate the guy a lot.
