The corollary of that is that the universe and its laws didn't exist until we evolved to think about it. And since that was a gradual process, it means the universe, and its laws, only came into existence gradually. So at one stage we only had a wee bit of Boyle's Law, and a wee bit of Maxwell's laws of Electromagnetism, and a wee bit of Pythagoras's theorem, etc. Pardon me if I laugh!
