Buddism is my background. A lot of posts here are about Christinity and I compared it to the religion of my background. It’s very interesting that most atheists that I’ve met think that Buddism is the most “reasonable” religion. That’s not true at all. People are surprise when I mention “hell” in Buddism. They said they didn’t know “hell” existed in Buddism. I want to let everyone knows that Buddism is no better than other religions. There are a lot of BS non sense stories/beliefs in Buddism. As for political issues in Thailand, the country/culture is full of hypocrites. It’s a dictatorship country hiding under fake democracy. Most people believe that the royal family is God. The big blue stripe in the middle of Thai’s flag represents the king and the smaller red and white stripes represent land/people and religion (red=land/people) (White=religion). There is a special language when talking to the royal family in Thailand. When people talk to the King, they address themselves as a tiniest of the dirt of the King’s Feet (people are Slave and worthless and the King is the highest God) Many people have this certain attitudes and it’s very hard for westerners to understand.
