So I had to cancel a wild night with the coworkers because my 9 year old invited me to a family dance at her school. It's a dad thing, I figure they only ask for so long so I gotta go. But then I find out my exwife and her current hubby will be there as well. So now it's about how I am well into my 40's and still going to school dances as the one with no date.

And I had to cancel a good night for this, and they have been precious few lately. So it's a little double suck.

I know this is the kind of forum that you are supposed to open things up to discussion (if you want, by all means) but to be clear and honest I just needed to bitch about it.

Probably should end in a question though....how about: Who's been there?
